This Stuff Matters  - We Are Still Here, Yorkshire Arts Space, Sheffield, October 2021. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Yorkshire Art Space for hosing the show  with special thanks to Tyler for his patience and  organisation. To Gillian Brent for her hard work in arranging the show and her hospitality in Sheffield. To Peter Griffiths for the photography and window vinyl's and lastly but certainly not least to Megan Goodeve for chairing the discussion. It was a pleasure to meet you all and we were thrilled with the response and warm welcome from everyone there.

This conversation with an audience was recorded live at Yorkshire Art Space and covers various topics  including the position and relevance of abstraction in a contemporary art world which is focused on

TheRest & Relaxation.....

Jill Gibson will be opening a new artist retreat - FAR - and showing space - Gallerie Gilardie, in the Charente, France. The venue will be open for short term residencies in 2022 and  offers a stimulating and contemplative environment for international artists, which also acts a meeting point for divergent and creative thinking. This is a multi-disciplinary residency, self determined, critical and engaging. Further details coming soon.

'The d'Artagnan Show' will be at The Cello Factory, Waterloo, in November 2021. With Paul Bonomini, Steve Hodgson and Terry Jones. 

The postcard exhibition curated by Sumi Pereira 'Wish You/We Were /Here/There will be travelling to the Lichtenstein Cultural Centre for exhibition in 2021 www.thelondongroup.com

Members News

We are delighted to announce that Alexandra Harley's piece - 'Adaxka'  won the Ashurst Prize. Her workwill be on show at the London Fruit and Wool Exchange, 1 Duval Square, London E1 6PW. The exhibition runs from the 16th June until 29th October.

Sheila Vollmers 'Sine Line' Sculpture Commission  was installed in Aug 2020 at Integral Powertrain's new Milton Keynes 'green' factory site.

The Shows Must Go On......

Milwyn Foundry very generously collaborated with the Royal Society of Sculptors and asked sculptors to take part in a 10g lost wax cast challenge during lockdown. Sheila, Jill and Alex were all part of this project and happy to announce that all their tiny bronzes will be on show at the Royal Society of Sculptors at the end of June until end Sept 2021.
